The transfer case on the Jimny is exposed which can lead to damage from rocks etc and also risks breaking the weak stock transfer case mounting arms if the vehicle becomes hung up or bellied on the transfer case, which puts all the weight of the Jimny on the mounting arms.

This guard protects the transfer case and is made from heavy duty laser cut 5mm steel with silver zinc electroplated finish for the ultimate corrosion protection.

The guard also incorporates a built in shield for the vulnerable plug, wiring and selector motor which hang low on the back of the transfer case and are prone to getting damaged off-road.
